Frequently asked questions about hair clips
How do I choose the right size of hair clip?
Choose by how much hair you are putting up. M (9 cm) suits a full updo in finer or shorter hair, L (10.5–11 cm) medium-thick to thick hair, and XL (13 cm) very thick and long hair. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Can I use a hair clip if I have hair extensions?
Yes. For a full updo with extensions, XL is usually the right size. Place the clip around the updo so it does not press directly on the bonds.
Can I use a hair clip on a wig?
Yes. Hair Clip Wig is made for putting up the hair at the back of a wig. Do not attach the clip to the lace or the edge of the wig.
Which colors match my hair?
Black and dark brown are matched to 1 Jet Black and 2 Dark Brown in our color chart. Transparent blends into all hair colors.
Is a hair clip gentler than a hair tie?
A clip holds the hair without pulling it tight, which many find gentler – especially with lots of hair. Feel free to alternate between clip and hair tie.
How long does delivery take?
We deliver within 2–3 days in Sweden.
Why does my hair clip slip out?
Usually the clip is too small for the amount of hair, so the teeth only grab part of it. Try one size up or twist the hair more tightly.
Can I sleep with a hair clip in?
No, take the clip out before you go to sleep. A soft hair tie or a loose braid is gentler overnight.
How do I care for my hair clip?
Wipe it with a soft cloth when needed and keep it away from keys and other hard objects, so the surface stays nice for longer.
Which hair clip is best for a party?
