Matching curly hair is harder than matching straight hair. It's not enough for the colour to be right – the shape and bounce of the curls must also be close to your own hair, or it will never look natural.
Finding the right curl pattern
Wavy, loosely curly, bouncy curly and Kinky behave completely differently in humidity and when washed. Feel free to bring a photo of your hair freshly washed and air-dried – that's how we see your real pattern, not how it looks after styling.
Shrinkage
Curly hair shrinks. An extension that measures 50 cm stretched out can look like 35 cm when curly. We always start from how long you want your hair to look, not from the number on the packaging.
The method for curly hair
If your own hair is very curly, sew-in is usually best – the attachments follow the natural structure of your hair and no glue disrupts the curl pattern.
Care
- Detangle when wet, with conditioner in, and with your fingers first
- A diffuser instead of a regular hairdryer nozzle
- Sleep with a silk scarf so the curls keep their shape
- Never brush dry curly hair
