All our wavy hair in one place – hair wefts, tape, keratin strands, clip-ins, halos and ponytails, in both Remy human hair and vegan synthetic.

FAQs

Which methods are available in wavy hair?

Hair wefts, invisible weft, tape, keratin strands, clip-ins, halos and ponytails. The category gathers every method in wavy texture, in both human hair and vegan.

Why is wavy recommended for beginners?

The waves scatter the light and hide the transition between your own hair and the extensions. Small color differences and an overdue move-up show less than in straight hair.

Does wavy hair draw up in length?

A little, but nowhere near as much as curly. Expect the length to look a few centimetres shorter than the measurement when the hair is dry and unstyled.

The wave is flattening over time – is something wrong?

No, that is normal in human hair. The wave comes back when you reshape it with heat or let the hair air dry in a braid. Vegan synthetic takes the wave back on its own.

Human hair or vegan?

Human hair can be colored and heat styled freely but needs reshaping after washing. Vegan has the wave built into the fiber and takes it back on its own, but cannot be colored.

Everything you need to know about Wavy hair extensions

Wavy Hair Extensions – Every Method in One Texture
This category gathers all our wavy hair, however it is attached. You will find hair wefts and invisible weft, tape, keratin strands, clip-ins, halos and ponytails, in both 100% Remy human hair and vegan synthetic fiber.

The most forgiving choice
Wavy hair is what we most often recommend to anyone new to extensions. The waves scatter the light and therefore hide the transition between your own hair and the extensions far better than straight hair does. Small differences in shade and a move-up that is overdue show less, which gives you more margin both in choosing the color and between salon visits.

Length and fall
Wavy hair draws up a little, but nowhere near as much as curly. Expect the length to look a few centimetres shorter than the measurement when the hair is dry and unstyled. If the wave flattens over time in human hair, that is normal – it comes back when you reshape it with heat or let the hair air dry in a braid.

Human hair or vegan
Remy human hair can be colored darker, heat styled freely and reused at each move-up, but the wave needs reshaping after every wash. Vegan synthetic has the wave built into the fiber and takes it back on its own as the hair dries, which makes it considerably easier to look after – but it cannot be colored.

Choose the method to suit your own hair
If your hair is fine or thin, tape, keratin strands and invisible weft are the gentlest. With normal to thick hair, hair wefts work well. Halos, clip-ins and ponytails you put in yourself with no permanent attachment. Tape is moved up every 8–10 weeks, microrings every 2–3 months, and keratin strands stay in for 3–4 months before being reset.

Care
Brush wavy hair when it is dry, not wet, and work from the ends upward. Apply a mask to the lengths and ends, never at the attachments. If you want to keep the wave defined, letting the hair air dry is better than blow drying it straight. Braid the hair loosely at night.

Advice and fitting
We carry out installation and reinstallation at our salons at Norrtullsgatan 26A by Odenplan in Stockholm and at Skolgatan 49 in Uppsala. The consultation is free, and we are just as happy to help you remotely if you shop online.
