Classic Cap – the Wig Without Lace
Classic Cap is our simplest construction and the one that asks the least of you. Instead of lace at the hairline, the wig has a shaped cap where the hairline is hidden by bangs or by the shape of the style itself. That means there is nothing to cut, nothing to glue and no styling that has to hold all day. You pick the wig up, put it on and you are done.

With or without bangs
Most models have bangs or curtain bangs, which hide the hairline completely. Some have a shaped front with a side part instead, where the style itself softens the transition. Both work the same way day to day – the choice is mostly about which hairstyle you want.

Who is it for?
Classic Cap is a good first choice if you have never worn a wig before, since nothing needs preparing. It also works when your energy is low, when you wear a wig only occasionally, or when you want several hairstyles to switch between without each one demanding work.

The difference from lace
Lace is the most expensive part to make, and it is what you pay for in our other models. Without lace you get more hair for the money. What you give up is a visible scalp at the part and the ability to style the hair fully away from your face – a Classic Cap is worn as it is and cannot be re-parted freely. If you want to put the hair up or choose your part, lace closure, lace front plus or full lace is the way to go.

Human hair or vegan
In vegan synthetic the style takes back its shape on its own after washing, which suits this construction perfectly – the wig looks the same every time without you doing anything. In human hair you can cut the wig to suit your face, heat style it and color it darker, and it lasts several years rather than months.

Fit
Most of our wigs are medium and adjust at the nape. If the cap needs taking in or letting out, we do that in our Wig Atelier. If you have a sensitive scalp or find that clips rub, there is Comfort Cap, our cap with no clips or combs at all, which sits with adjustable drawstrings instead.

Care
A wig needs washing far less often than your own hair, roughly every fifteenth to twentieth wear. Synthetic is washed with a shampoo made for synthetic wigs and air dried on a wig head. Human hair needs moisture regularly, since it gets no sebum of its own from a scalp.
