Clip-on hair extensions are wefts with small clips that you put in and take out yourself. You decide which days you want extra length and volume.
1. What? – technique and attachment
Hair wefts with clips, self-applied.
2. Who? – hair type and needs
All hair types, temporary volume.
3. How long? – wear time and move-up
Removed every evening, no move-up.
4. Pros/cons? – strengths and limitations
Pros: flexible, gentle, no salon time. Cons: not for daily wear.
Everyday tips
Always place the clips in lightly backcombed hair so they sit more securely, and vary the placement by a few millimetres each time so the same strands aren't under strain every day. Always take them out before you sleep. A clip-on set in human hair can be toned, cut and heat-styled just like your own hair – that's why it lasts year after year.
