When you book a butterfly weft installation with us in Stockholm at Odenplan or in Uppsala, the treatment is completely chemical-free and carried out by our experienced hairstylists in three steps:
- 1. Consultation and preparation: We assess the starting condition of your hair, discuss your choice of length and match your shade. Your hair is washed and carefully blow-dried to create the best foundation for a long-lasting installation.
- 2. Gentle installation: We clamp small microrings into your own hair so that they form a hidden row close to the scalp. The butterfly weft is then attached to the rings through its pre-drilled holes, completely without sewing, glue or heat, so that the attachments lie flat against your head.
- 3. Cutting and styling: We cut and shape the extensions so that the transition is invisible, finish with styling and go through the care instructions with you.
How often do I need follow-up appointments?
We move the hair up every two to three months, depending on the hair's growth and care. The hair itself can be reused several times.

How does the installation work?
We fit small micro rings in your own hair and pull the strands through the weft's pre-drilled holes with a loop tool, following the natural growth direction. One strand is taken from each side, through two holes next to each other, and the two rings meet in the middle to form one attachment point that holds the weft securely and completely flat against the head. No sewing, no glue and no heat — and in fine hair we use more attachment points so the weight is evenly distributed.
