Paste and matte wax give texture and can be reshaped during the day – work a little into dry hair and tousle with your fingers. Pomade and gel give a shinier, more defined shape. Hairspray goes on last to lock the style. Start with a small amount and add more if needed.

Itching, dandruff and a tight feeling after washing are usually caused by a dry scalp, not dirty hair. A scalp treatment once a week often does more than switching shampoo.

Hair fibers cling to existing hair and create a fuller look instantly. They are cosmetic, don't affect hair loss and wash out with shampoo. If you are between two shades, the darker one is usually the right choice.
