FAQs

How do you create dreadlocks?

Yes, we make dreadlocks hair extensions for length and fullness and shape dreads in your own hair if the conditions are good.

How often do dreadlocks need maintenance?

We use high-quality hair that holds well and provides natural texture. Together we choose the color, length and density that suits your style.

How do real dreads differ from synthetic ones?

We carefully section, backcomb and crochet for a compact shape. Hair extensions are integrated where you want more length or volume.

How long do the results last and when is maintenance needed?

Dreadlocks suit almost all hair types. We help both if you want to start new dreads and if you need help with new growth or fuzzy lengths on existing dreads.

Can you extend my dreads?

Yes. We crochet human hair into your dreads so you get the length and volume you want right away. The hair blends in and matures together with your own dreads.

Everything you need to know about Dreadlocks Stockholm & Uppsala

Dreadlocks in Stockholm and Uppsala
We create new dreadlocks, maintain existing ones and extend them with human hair. We work with backcombing and crocheting, with no chemicals, glue or heavy waxes.

New dreads and extensions
New dreadlocks are created with a fine crochet hook directly in your own hair. If you want length right away, we crochet human hair into your dreads so they blend in and mature together with your own hair.

Maintenance
Over time, loose hair grows out at the roots and the lengths can get fuzzy. At maintenance we crochet in the new growth, tighten loose strands and separate dreads that have grown together. Book maintenance every three to six months.

Care at home
Clean hair locks better than dirty hair. Wash regularly with a residue-free shampoo and avoid conditioner and masks, which make the hair slippery. Dry your dreads thoroughly after every wash, preferably with a hairdryer, so no moisture is trapped.
