Something many people don't know: you don't need to have bought the wig from us to bring it in. We take wigs bought anywhere, including ones ordered online that never felt quite right.
All the services below are part of our wig service and are carried out in the shop.
Start with a Hair Consult
A free consultation. Bring the wig and we'll tell you what can be done and what isn't worth the money. Sometimes the answer is that it can't be saved – and it's better to hear that straight away than to pay for a treatment that won't help.
Fit
- Custom Fit – we adjust a ready-made wig to your measurements: size, elastic band, lace and cut.
- Wig Band – a new elastic band when the old one has stretched and the wig has started to slip.
- Cap Renewal – a new wig cap when the hair is still good but the base is worn out.
Hairline and lace
- Lace-Cut – we trim the lace to your hairline. Detailed work, and hard to undo, so we'd rather take a little at a time.
- Hairline Perfect – bleached knots and a plucked hairline, so the line looks like it grows out of the skin.
- Wig Repair – repairing torn lace instead of buying new.
- Lace Renewal – replacing a whole closure or frontal when repair isn't enough.
Cutting, colour and density
- Density Cut – thinning out. The most common reason a wig looks like a wig is that it has too much hair.
- Signature Color – colouring a real hair wig. Darker works; lighter we advise against.
- Re-Knot – knotting in new hair where it has thinned, usually at the parting or temples.
Washing and upkeep
- Wig Spa – washing and styling. A wig worn daily needs more than shampoo after a while.
- Wig Care – a one-year service agreement, for anyone wearing a wig every day who'd rather have it scheduled.
- Express – priority within five working days when it's urgent.
In the salon and on your own
- Salon Fitting – we put the wig on here, before a particular occasion.
- Wig Class – you learn to apply the wig yourself, so you don't have to book every time.
And if nothing fits
Atelier Made – a custom wig, built to your measurements from the start. That's the route when head shape, density or hair length mean no ready-made option sits the way it should.
How it works
Book an appointment and bring the wig. For cutting, Lace-Cut and adjustments we'd prefer you to stay, since the result has to suit your face. Washing, repairs and larger jobs you can leave with us and collect later.
If you have two wigs in rotation, it's smart to bring one in while you wear the other.
