FAQs

How long does a synthetic wig last?

One to three months depending on how much you wear it. Daily wear sits at the lower end of the range, while occasional wear lasts considerably longer.

Do I need to restyle the wig after washing?

No. The shape is built into the fiber and comes back on its own as the wig dries. Let it air dry on a wig head and it is ready.

Can I color a synthetic wig?

No, synthetic fiber does not take color. The shade you choose is the shade you get, so we are happy to help you pick before you decide.

Can the wig handle heat?

Yes, our fiber is heat resistant and handles low to medium heat. Never use a flat iron on its highest setting – damaged synthetic fiber does not grow back.

What does vegan mean here?

That the wig is made entirely without animal materials. No human hair and no animal-derived components in the fiber or the cap.

Everything you need to know about Vegan Synthetic Wigs

Vegan Synthetic Wigs – Easy to Live With, Free from Animal Materials
Vegan is our synthetic line. The fiber is heat resistant and made entirely without animal materials, and it has one property human hair does not: the shape is built into the fiber and comes back on its own as the wig dries. You wash it, let it air dry on a wig head, and it is ready – no blow dryer, no curling iron, no restyling.

Who is it for?
Vegan suits you if you want a wig that works straight away every morning, if you are new to wigs and want to try without a large investment, or if you like changing your look often. Together with our Luxury line in human hair, the vegan range makes up our medical selection and works well for hair loss after chemotherapy or with alopecia.

Constructions in synthetic
Lace front, which we also call t-lace, gives a natural hairline at the front. Lace front plus has more lace and therefore more freedom in the hairline. Mono top has hand-tied hair that looks like it grows straight from the head. Mono part gives a hand-tied part. Classic Cap has a finished shape where the bangs hide the hairline and no styling is needed at all.

How long does it last?
A synthetic wig lasts one to three months depending on how much you wear it. Daily wear sits at the lower end of that range, while occasional wear lasts considerably longer. Many people alternate two wigs, which makes both last longer.

Heat and styling
Our fiber is heat resistant and handles low to medium heat. Keep the temperature down and never use a flat iron on its highest setting – synthetic fiber does not grow back if it is damaged. Coloring is not possible, so the shade you choose is the shade you get. Take a little extra time over the color, and we will gladly help.

Care
Wash with a shampoo made for synthetic wigs in lukewarm water, rinse gently and let it air dry on a wig head. Never brush the wig while it is wet. Avoid ordinary haircare with oils and silicones, which weigh the fiber down. We sell shampoo, conditioner and accessories made for synthetic.

Glueless across the range
Every wig we sell stays in place with an adjuster at the nape, without glue and without tape. You put it on and take it off yourself every day, with no products against the skin.

Advice and prescriptions
The consultation is free, online or by appointment in Stockholm or Uppsala. For hair loss caused by illness we are an approved supplier for wig prescriptions in all 21 Swedish regions and invoice the region directly.
