Butterfly weft is an extra-thin hand-tied weft attached close to the scalp with micro rings. The edge is so flat you can barely feel it when you run your hand over your hair.

How it differs from a regular hair weft
The difference is the thickness of the edge. A traditional machine-sewn weft has a more noticeable ridge that can be felt when you wear your hair up or sleep on it. Butterfly weft is built to lie close, so you can have several rows without building height on the head.
The method is especially good if you want a lot of hair but still want to wear it up. Because the weft lies flat, you can do a ponytail or messy bun without the bonds showing as easily as with thicker rows. We place the rows according to your hair growth and how you wear your hair, and we decide that together at the consultation.
The application includes color matching, application and cutting so the extensions blend with your own hair. You can buy the hair from us or bring your own.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between butterfly weft and sew-in extensions?
The attachment. With sew-in extensions the weft is sewn onto a braid with needle and thread. Butterfly weft is instead attached to micro rings through its pre-drilled holes, with no sewing at all. The edge is also thinner, so the rows build less height.
Can I work out and swim with butterfly weft?
Yes. Braid or tie up your hair before training, rinse out chlorine and salt as soon as you can, and let the hair dry completely before putting it up again.
Can butterfly weft be combined with tape or keratin?
Yes, we often combine methods to solve different areas of the head. The sides and the area around the ears may need a thinner solution than the nape.
