Hair weft, also called hair weft, is hair extensions attached to a long strip. It is used to create longer, fuller and more natural-looking hair, and is especially suitable if you want plenty of volume and thicker lengths.
Unlike tape and keratin extensions, the hair comes in wider sections that can be adapted to the shape of your head. The same weft can be sewn in, attached with micro rings or fitted with clips.
How hair wefts are attached
Which method is suitable depends on your own hair, how long you want to wear the extensions and the result you want.
- Sew-in - the wefts are sewn onto braids. Secure and gentle, without glue or heat.
- Micro weft - small rings are clamped around your own hair and the weft is attached to the rings.
- Weave - most of your own hair is braided away and the weft is built up over the braids.
- Clip-on - the weft is attached to clips for temporary use.
Our types of hair wefts
- Classic and Luxury - our standard wefts, in straight, wavy, curly, Deep Wave and Yaki.
- Double drawn - full from root to tip.
- Invisible weft - an ultra-thin, flat attachment that blends in even with thin hair.
- Butterfly weft - thin and flexible, easy to wear.
Adapt it to your own hair
Choose a colour, length and texture that match your own hair. Match the colour to the ends, not the roots, and choose a texture close to your natural one. For the best result, the hair is cut and blended after it has been fitted.
Care
- Brush gently, always starting at the ends and working upwards
- Use moisturising products and always use heat protection when styling
- Never sleep with wet hair and do not pull on the attachments
- Book a maintenance appointment in good time if the hair is permanently attached
Hair weft or tape?
Hair wefts often provide more volume and are suitable for those who want fuller lengths. Tape extensions lie flatter against the head and may be a better choice if you want more discreet attachments or have very thin hair.
Single drawn or double drawn?
Single drawn has more natural variation in the lengths and thinner ends, creating a softer flow. Double drawn is fuller from root to tip and is suitable for those who want maximum volume and thick ends.
Benefits of hair wefts
- Provides the most volume of our hair extension methods
- Can be attached in several different ways according to your needs
- Blends softly with your own hair
- Can be cut and adjusted in width to suit the shape of your head
Frequently asked questions
Who are hair wefts suitable for?
Anyone who wants longer hair, more volume or fuller lengths.
Do hair wefts work if you have very thin hair?
Yes, but the method and amount of hair need to be adapted particularly carefully so that the attachments feel comfortable and the result looks natural. Invisible weft is often a good choice in that case.
How long do hair wefts last?
The hair itself can be reused several times. The attachments need to be moved up at regular intervals, depending on the method and how quickly your hair grows. We schedule an appointment for you when the hair is fitted.
