Description

Butterfly Weft Rak in Luxury quality is an ultra-thin hair weft with no return hair, made to lie flat against the head. You get volume and length without the weight a regular hair weft can add.

How the installation works
Micro rings are clamped onto your own hair to form a row. The butterfly weft is attached to the rings through its pre-punched holes. Nothing is sewn, and no glue or heat is used. The weft can be cut to width without shedding, so it's tailored to your head. The hair is moved up after one to two months.

Installing it yourself
You can install butterfly weft at home. Section the hair in a straight line and place the weft just below the parting. Using the hook tool, pull a strand of hair from each side through its own hole, in the direction the hair grows. The holes should sit next to each other, and the two micro rings meet between them and are clamped together into one attachment. Colouring
This is human hair and can be coloured both darker and lighter. Have a hairdresser do the colouring and test on a small section of hair first.

Care tips
Brush gently from the ends up, morning and evening. Wash with mild, moisturising products and don't apply conditioner directly to the attachments. Always use heat protection when styling, and sleep with your hair in a loose braid.

How is butterfly weft fitted into the hair?

Butterfly Weft is a very thin hair weft that is attached to micro rings in your own hair through its pre-punched holes – nothing is sewn, and no glue or heat is used. The attachment is flat and comfortable and lies invisibly against the scalp.

What quality is the hair in butterfly weft?

The hair is carefully selected, 100% human hair in our finest Luxury quality. This ensures the extension behaves just like your own hair, with natural shine and soft movement.

How do I keep the straight weft smooth all day?

Blow-dry smooth on medium heat with a round brush and finish with a few drops of serum in the lengths. A straightener on low heat is plenty, as human hair holds its shape better when you avoid high heat. Always use heat protection first.

Is butterfly weft suitable if I have thin or fine hair?

Yes, the thin design makes the weft feather-light and distributes the weight very evenly over your head. That makes it an excellent, gentle choice even if you have finer or thinner hair.

How much hair do I need?

For a light volume boost, a smaller amount of hair over a few rows is often enough. If you want noticeable extra length to 50–70 cm, we recommend a larger amount and more rows for a well-balanced silhouette.

How do I match the colour to my own hair?

Always use your own root colour and the shade of your lengths as a starting point when choosing from our colours, for example warm browns or ash blonde tones. We also offer highlighted colours that easily create beautiful, multidimensional depth in your hair extension.

Can butterfly weft be coloured or bleached?

Our human hair can usually be toned darker with a gentle toner or colour mask. We strongly advise against any form of bleaching or lightening, however, as it can impair the fine quality of the hair extensions.

How do I care for straight butterfly weft?

Wash every other week with a moisturising shampoo, comb out from the bottom up and blow-dry the attachments. Straight texture tangles least of all, but dry ends show more – so give the lengths a hair mask every other wash.

How is butterfly weft different from a standard hair weft?

Compared with a traditional machine weft, Butterfly Weft has a considerably thinner, more flexible top edge. This lets it lie much flatter against the head and minimises the risk of the attachments showing through your own hair.

How do I sleep without flattening my hair?

Braid your hair loosely or gather it in a high, loose bun above the nape. A silk pillowcase reduces friction so you wake up without frizz.
