FAQs

How many grams do I need?

Count on 100 grams for clear thickness and 150 grams for a full set of extensions. With thick hair of your own you are at the upper end, with fine hair at the lower.

What is included in a set?

Luxury is 150 g across 6–7 pieces, Classic 100 g across 7 pieces and Vegan 240 g across 4 wide pieces. Every piece comes with clips already attached.

What separates Luxury, Classic and Vegan?

Luxury is Remy human hair that tangles least and can be colored. Classic is human hair but not Remy, with a shorter life. Vegan is synthetic that holds its shape on its own but cannot be colored.

Can I sleep in clip-in extensions?

No. The clips pull at the roots as you move in your sleep and the hair tangles. Always take the set out before bed – that is also why clip-in is gentler on your own hair than permanent methods.

How long does a set last?

Luxury lasts a long time with the right haircare, since it is only worn for a few hours at a time. Classic has a shorter life, and the vegan set the shortest.

Everything you need to know about Clip-in Hair Extensions Human Hair

Clip-in Extensions – How to Choose the Right Set
Clip-in is the gentlest method we have, because nothing stays in while you sleep, shower or train. You put the set in yourself in a few minutes and take it out at the end of the day. We have worked with extensions since 2009 and only sell hair we fit ourselves at our salons in Stockholm and Uppsala.

The weight decides what you can do
Most clip-in sets on the market are 100–120 grams. Our three options differ clearly:

Luxury in human hair – 150 g across 6–7 pieces. Enough for a full set of extensions with room to spare.
Classic in human hair – 100 g across 7 pieces. Gives clear thickness or a lighter extension.
Vegan synthetic – 240 g across 4 wide pieces. Maximum volume, worn in full or in part.

If your hair is thin or fine, a lighter set goes a long way. If your hair is thick, you need more grams for the extensions to blend in rather than sit on top.

Our qualities
Luxury is our best human hair. It is Remy, which means every strand faces the same way from root to tip. It tangles less, keeps its shine and can be colored. Classic is human hair at a lower price. It can be styled and heat treated, but it is not Remy, so it tangles a little more and has a shorter life – good if you want to try clip-in before investing. Vegan is our synthetic option, entirely free of animal hair. The pattern sits in the fiber and never needs restyling, but the hair cannot be colored and handles less heat.

Choosing texture
Match the extensions to your own hair as it looks air dried, not as it looks blow dried. Straight and wavy suit most people. Curly and Deep Wave should be matched to your own curl pattern. Yaki is made for relaxed or blow dried natural hair, Kinky for natural afro hair. If you are unsure, send a daylight photo of unwashed, air dried hair and we will look at it together.

How to put it in
Part the hair horizontally and clip the upper section up. Backcomb lightly at the roots where the clips will sit and press them in until you hear a click. Start with the widest pieces at the bottom of the head and work upwards. Never place a piece so high that it shows at the parting.

Care
Always take the set out before you sleep. Wash it rarely and only when needed, with a mild shampoo and a moisturising mask, and let it air dry flat. Always use heat protection when styling. Store the set in a bag or on a hanger, not rolled up in a drawer.
