KIS KeraMen All in One Schampo för män

Hair care for men rarely needs to be complicated. Three products cover most people: something that cleans without drying out, something that gives shape, and something that keeps the shape in place. That's it.

The problem is rarely too little product but the wrong kind. Many use a harsh shampoo every day, which leaves the scalp dry and the hair harder to style, and then compensate with more wax.

Wash

A mild shampoo you can use often is the foundation. Massage it into the scalp rather than the lengths – that is where the oil sits. If you have extensions, a hairpiece or mesh, the same shampoo works, but be careful around the attachments.

Styling

Choose by the look you want, not by how strong the product is. Gel gives control and a defined shape, and works best in damp hair that you then blow-dry or let dry. If you want a matte finish with less hold, a paste or wax is the better choice.

Use less than you think. Start with a pea-sized amount, work it out between your hands, and add more only if you need it. You can always add, never remove.

Hold

A spray at the end locks the style without making the hair stiff. It is the step most people skip, and often the reason a style looks good in the morning but not in the afternoon.

Thin hair and a receding hairline

With thinner hair: style it dry rather than wet, avoid heavy products that clump the strands together, and blow-dry with your head tilted forward to lift from the root. If you want coverage there are more options – hair fibre for smaller areas, a toupee or a men's wig for larger ones. We go through it with you free of charge in the salon.

The routine in three steps

Wash, shape, set. Do that consistently and you don't need more products than these.
