The double-sided tape goes between your skin and the hairpiece to create an instant, ultra-strong hold. The CC shape makes it extra easy to fit the tape snugly along rounded hairlines.
The tape is made with a flexible, medical-grade acrylic adhesive that's both water-resistant and clear. This keeps the hold invisible and reliable even when you move a lot or in humid conditions.
You can style your wig as usual with a flat iron or curling iron once the tape is in place. Avoid pointing intense heat from a hairdryer directly at the hairline, though, as it can temporarily soften the adhesive.
This product is skin-friendly and carefully tested for regular use with wigs and toupees. We still always recommend testing a small piece on your forearm first if you know you have reactive skin.
CC Contour has a gently curved shape that's perfect for most front hairlines and rounded nape areas. As the strips are already pre-cut, you don't need to spend time cutting your own shapes from a straight tape roll.
The tape is completely clear with a matte finish that doesn't reflect light. That means it blends in invisibly against every skin tone and transparent wig mesh.
No, the tape itself can't be coloured and shouldn't come into contact with active chemicals like hair dye at all. If you're going to tone or colour your human hair wig, always remove all the tape first.
Ultra Hold is well known in the industry for its exceptional strength and gives a very secure hold for two to four weeks. How long it lasts can vary slightly depending on your skin's natural oil production and your everyday activity level.
Unlike our classic straight tape rolls, CC Contour is already pre-shaped in a curved line for quicker, neater application. It has exactly the same powerful, water-resistant adhesive as the popular Ultra Hold roll.
As this hold is designed to stay secure for several weeks, you can sleep as normal with your wig on. Always store leftover tape pieces in their original packaging somewhere dark and dry.
