Frequently asked questions about keratin treatment
The shampoo cleanses hair gently using mild surfactants instead of harsh, drying chemicals. This stops the cuticle from roughening and preserves the keratin inside the hair.
It's a sulphate-free blend enriched with botanical extracts and moisturising components. Avoiding sulphates is essential, as they would otherwise dissolve and wash away the effect of your smoothing treatment.
The shampoo itself doesn't protect against extreme heat from your styling tools. After washing, always apply a separate, gentle heat protectant before blow-drying or straightening.
Yes, this formula is exceptionally mild and ideal for thin or fragile hair that needs extra care. It doesn't weigh strands down but keeps a natural, airy feel.
How much shampoo you need depends entirely on your hair length and thickness at each wash. The bottle goes a long way, and a coin-sized amount is often plenty for normal-thickness, shoulder-length hair.
The shampoo suits all hair colours and is gentle on both coloured and bleached hair.
The shampoo doesn't colour the hair, but sulphate-free washing is gentle on coloured hair and helps the colour last longer.
Use the shampoo every time you wash your hair. Together with sulphate-free conditioner, it helps the keratin treatment last about 3–6 months.
We have many different hair care products, but this shampoo is specifically developed as aftercare for keratin and botox treatments. It differs from our deep-cleansing shampoo by gently closing the cuticle rather than opening it.
The bottle is best kept in your bathroom away from strong direct sunlight. To protect your freshly washed hair overnight, we recommend sleeping on a soft silk pillowcase.
